Self Portrait by the Sea (Original art)

“I must go down to the seas again, for the call of the running tide
Is a wild call and a clear call that may not be denied;
And all I ask is a windy day with the white clouds flying,
And the flung spray and the blown spume, and the sea-gulls crying.”

Excerpt from Sea Fever by John Masefield (1916)

    Your poem and the painting are so inspiring ,these are my lines dedicated to you
    Western sky painted in red
    Sun has closed its shed
    Sea birds flies back singing
    Evening slowly start glittering
    Evening star that lovely Venus
    Though planet makes other star jealous
    In the darkness I am lost in sea
    And I forget where I want to be
